This is a relatively new, venture capital backed company that sells a social rewards platform. - The job necessitates a senior executive who can identify potential deals - Develop the tactics and teams needed to affectively close the sales - We have no middle management, this position is the closest to middle management that exists - The Executive will need to actively lead the business development function in an effective, aggressive manner - The executive is also expected to be a contributor to the overall management of the company as a member of the senior management team, CEO, CFO, CMO - These responsibilities are essential at this stage of the companys development, establish the necessary professional expertise and experience parameters for the successful applicant - Consistently negotiates and closes new business - Develops strategies to generate cost effective sales leads - Develops and maintains strong alliance partnerships - Documents all sales contacts and activities using salesforce.com. - Establishes feedback mechanisms from clients, prospects, and partners to the marketing department - Effectively manages all resources to meet revenue and expense targets within assigned budget and provides input in the development of the annual department budget - Provides constant feedback to management on the different business verticals. - Accurately qualifies and prepares Pre-Sales Consultants and Service staff for client demonstrations and presentations - Shares input with other departments in preparing sales materials and technical publications - Conducts performance appraisals in accordance with corporate guidelines - Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws - Operates under little supervision - Works remotely, primary position assignments will be conducted out of your home office - Applicants with a MAC computer and multifunction printerfaxscanner are preferable - High Speed Internet access - Accurately and consistently forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned regionThere is definitely room for advancement- we will be hiring a Global Sales Director to manage all sales people within the next 3-five months.
