The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills. Attention to detail, process analysis with the ability to disseminate data and information to others and implement new initiatives is a must. The primary responsibilities of the position include leading the quality management system, training and certification of associates, evaluating and determining optimal process settings and controls on production lines, participating in the leadership and management of regulatory/compliance matters including AIB certification, Safe Quality Foods certification and Safety/OSHA matters. The candidate must be able to work well with customers, understand and troubleshoot issues and recommend and communicate solutions. A BS Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree and/or experience are required. Training and/or experience with Six Sigma and 5-S/Lean principles is desired, but not a requirement.
