Global Command Center Security Manager Position - Immediate Opening Downtown in Manhattan, NY

A premier security firm is looking for an experienced Security Supervisor to manage a Global Command Center and team of Security Analysts at a downtown location. The applicant must have a NYS Guard License, a four year college diploma, military experience, and management and security experience. Global Command Center experience is preferred. The applicant must also possess strong computer knowledge, including experience with high level threat assessment monitoring equipment, and strong written and spoken communication abilities, including excellent reporting skills. The technical skills should also include the utilization of several software tracking systems programmed with individual sensitivity and threat assessment levels, allowing each Analyst to filter and quantify large amounts of data and provide that details to critical business leaders in a short period of time. The position includes monitoring and reporting on any security incidents or breaches that occur at the clients sites worldwide and monitoring the teams tasks to ensure that they are working closely with the other global teams to provide consistent support and reporting. The applicant will also be responsible for initiating emergency response procedures during global critical incidents and liaising with all regional security officers, state agencies and local law enforcement to obtain global threat assessment details. Identifying issues and security breaches are also a part of the position, along with making strategic decisions based upon the intelligence on the ground.
