Recruitment and Outreach Manager Needed for Early Intervention Program Lower in Manhattan, NY

PositionRecruitment and Outreach ManagerSupervisorProgram Director Overview The Early Intervention EI Program provides home-based EI services in Manhattan and the Bronx. The program serves approx 200 children and continues to expand. The program contracts with approx 120 service providers who provide their services in community based centers or in the childrens home. This position is a newly created position to develop and expand the program capacity to serve more families, by employing a multi-prong approach in developing a larger pool of therapists and strengthening relationships with primary referral sources, such as service coordinators, early childhood programs and pediatricians.Responsibilities Recruit, interview and orient therapists. Monitor the completion of therapist personnel files. Ensures personnel file complies with NYS, NYC regulation. Monitors compliance of personnel files. Coordinates outreach for cases to ensure that newly recruited therapists are assigned cases. Reviews therapists for compliance, parent satisfaction, utilization. Follows up with providers to ensure compliance, parent satisfaction and utilization. Collaborates with Program Director and Staffing Supervisor on implementation of new regulations. Plans recruitment activity throughout year, preparing for high utilization months in advance. Responsible for referral outreach and recruitment. Reports to Program Director on service activity, utilization and trends. Assist the Program Director with program planning and implementation. Assist in program evaluation and audits including monitoring of key indicators related to personnel Is familiar with regulations pertaining to personnel. Attend IFSP meetings when necessary. Attend city-wide Early Intervention meetings.
